 First Impressions Ministry We desire that anyone who comes to Arizona Hills Church experiences community the way the Bible describes it. The Golden Rule from Luke 6:31 reminds all of us to “treat people the way you want to be treated.” The goal of the First Impressions Ministry is to treat guests with kindness, warmth, hospitality, and respect from the moment they pull into the parking lot, until they leave. Our ministry involves a number of different, yet related ministries all focused on that goal: Greeting, Ushering, Communion, and Guest Center to name a few. At Holy Grounds Cafe, we strive to provide a warm and comfortable environment where people can connect over quality food and drink. It's a great place to study, meet new people, or just hang out. Enjoy coffee, cappuccino, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, homemade quiche and delicious pastries. We have a variety of local musicians that play great music. Open every Sunday from 8:00 - 9:30 am and 10:30 - 11:30 am. Please join us! Set-up and Breakdown Being a church in a rented facility has many benefits – no big mortgage payment or maintenance and a superior building we didn’t have to construct. However, there are also challenges. Every Sunday our entire church must be unpacked and then repacked into boxes, trailers, and storerooms. The volunteers that help us each week with this task are the unsung heroes of the church. You almost never see them because they work before and after everyone has gone, but without them Sunday worship would not happen. World Wide Witness (WWW) is Arizona Hills Community Church’s missions ministry. It is committed to the local, regional, and global work of spreading the message of Jesus Christ through support, training, and education. Missions is the strategic sending out and support of equipped disciple-makers to minister outside our local congregation and community in the hopes of transforming communities around the world. This is a ministry of reconciliation of people to God, so that men, women, and children everywhere may be led to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; and then will be incorporated into the church for worship, fellowship, and service. The members of the 2009-10 WWW leadership team are: Ginger Schwam (Chair), Don Crane (Treasurer and Co-Missions' Project Coordinator), Britney Dueling (Co-Secretary), Dena Crane (Co-Missions' Project Coordinator), Jon Hatch, George Torres, Dewey Fellars, and Lela Fellars.
