Middle School (Grades 5-8)
Our middle school program encourages students to think about how God can and is influencing their lives. We recognize this as a difficult age where students begin to engage life on their own. Our hope is that we can inspire them to make their thoughts and beliefs about God their own too.
Sunday Morning: Every Sunday morning we have our weekly Superlife Service. This hour is full of loud music, interactive games and challenging teaching. Our goal during Superlife hour is to make church fun, while encouraging your student to think about their life with God. Superlife hour happens every Sunday morning at 9:30am at Boulder Creek High School. They meet at Cross of Christ church at 6:45.
High School (Grades 9-12)
Our high school program develops students in becoming catalysts for changing the world. This change starts within themselves and works its way out to influence and affect those around them. We believe this change can happen in every student right now, starting with their personal relationship with God.
Sunday Night: Every Sunday night we have our high school CRASH service, where students have time to hang and connect with others, hear and see how God is influencing other students their age, and be challenged by a life changing message. CRASH happens every Sunday night from 6-8pm at our CRASH room. Click Here for a Google map with directions to Crash room
Small Groups: Small groups are a crucial part of getting students connected to church, adult leaders, each other and God. High School small groups meet on their own through out the year. Putting It into Practice: Along with equipping students to make a difference, we give them opportunities to put it into practice. In the last four years, Arizona Hills Student Ministry has taken two month long mission trips to Latvia, in the former Soviet Union. Students received the chance to actively live for God 24-hours a day in a foreign culture. The result was a positive impact in the lives of the Latvian people and students who came back with a more mature view of God and the world. In addition, each Spring Break students head down to Tijuana, Mexico and build a house from the ground up for a needy family. It is amazing to see students use their Spring Break from school to serve God and break a sweat doing it.
Just for Fun: We realize high school students aren't adults yet, so we don't take ourselves too seriously. Whether it's big events such as Summer Camp, Winter Retreat and the Fall Magic Mountain trip or simply meeting up for a burger at Sonic, fun is a big part of what we do.
