Base Camp is not traditional Sunday school. It is an engaging time for your child filled with awesome music, innovative biblical teaching and tons of fun.

9:30am at Boulder Creek High School.
The safety and security of your child is a top priority of Arizona Hills Church. Our teachers have been fingerprint tested and every child must be checked in and given a matching numbered braclet to their respective parent. The braclet will be used when picking up your child after service and the unique number allows us to page you within the adult worship service – so you never need to worry about being too far from your child.

There are Base Camp classes available for all ages from infant to 4th Grade.


Infants and Toddlers
Coordinator: Amanda Hatch

Base Camp’s Infant-Toddler ministry provides a safe and loving environment for children birth through three years of age. Jesus' love, demonstrated through our Base Camp volunteers, will help your children feel church is a happy place, where they are loved and valued. We know that you are entrusting your child with us and each is given special care and attention.

The ministry is divided into Crawlers (birth – 12 months), Walkers (12 months – 24 months) and Climbers (24 months – 36 months). Each room is equipped with age appropriate toys and curriculum that will build a strong foundation for each child at an early age. The Walkers and Climbers will hear and participate in Bible stories, kid’s worship music and coloring pages to reinforce the bible concept of the month.


Preschool and Kindergarten
Coordinator: Janet Lehman and Flo Gable

Base Camp’s Preschool-Kindergarten ministry teaches children God's Word in a safe, structured, and secure setting. We believe children can be taught and firmly rooted in the Word of God at an early age. Our volunteer teachers have been trained to teach Biblical principles and basic Christian truths through loving words and actions.  The ministry offers a 3-year old class and a Pre-K/Kindergarten class.  Base Camp volunteers use praise songs, an interactive Bible curriculum, arts and crafts, snacks, and lots of love in their teaching.

1st – 4th Grade
Coordinator: Bev Simpson

Base Camp’s 1st – 4th grade ministry is called Summit. Here children are introduced to the full worship experience. During Summit service, the children learn Biblical lessons through interactive bible teaching, worship, games, crafts, and small group time. Summit leaders equip children with the practical tools to apply the learned Bible stories and concepts in their everyday walk with God. The children have an amazing time, while the Lord uses our time together to help children C.L.I.M.B.!





Mommy & Me Playgroup
Coordinator: Amanda Hatch
Enjoy fellowship with other moms while your young children play together.  Every other Thursday from 9:30am-11:00am.  Location varies.  Contact the church office for more information.
